Is Polyomino! free to play?
Yes — Polyomino! is free to download. Your free trial will start with a generous batch of instantly playable levels. From there, the game gently paces your journey, eventually settling into a perfect daily challenge. Want to experience everything right now? The Premium upgrade instantly removes all wait times, unlocks every level, and gives you exclusive access to special challenges and trophy tracking.
What does the premium upgrade include?
The one-time premium in-app purchase unlocks all levels in the game at once and grants permanent access to the challenges and trophies features.
How do I solve a puzzle?
Drag polyomino pieces from the wall onto the picture frame. All pieces must be placed to fill the square frame exactly — no gaps and no overlaps. Every puzzle has at least one valid solution.
What are the score tiers?
Your score is based on the number of moves (piece placements) you make. Green means you solved it efficiently, yellow means you used a moderate number of moves, and red means you made many moves. Fewer moves = better tier.
How do coins work?
After each completed level you earn coins equal to (total puzzle area − number of moves you made). This can be negative, but your wallet will never drop below zero.
How do Timed Challenges and Trophies work?
Challenges and Trophies are a premium feature. In a Timed Challenge, your goal is to clear the target total board area before the clock runs out. The total area (number of block units) of each level you complete is added to your challenge progress. The type of trophy you earn progress towards depends entirely on your score tier: Green = Gold, Yellow = Silver, Red = Bronze. You can track your progress towards each trophy in the challenge panel.
How do I start a Timed Challenge?
Tap ENTER A CHALLENGE (bottom of the screen) or the Shop (top) to browse available challenges. Each features a unique time limit, target area, and entry fee. Tap the price button to pay the fee and begin! Tip: You earn coins back for completing levels. If time runs out, you can pay the entry fee again to retry.
Does the game require an internet connection?
No — Polyomino! is fully offline. You can play anywhere, anytime without a data connection.
I accidentally deleted the app. Is my progress lost?
Currently all game data is stored locally on your device. If you delete the app without a backup, your progress will be lost. We recommend using your device's built-in backup solution (iCloud or Google Backup) if available.
Can I transfer my progress to a new device?
Since all game data is stored locally, there isn't a built-in way to transfer progress between devices. However, if you have a backup of your old device (e.g. iCloud or Google Backup), restoring that backup on your new device should also restore your game progress. Device to Device transfers, aka "Copy apps and data"/"Smart Switch" on android, "Quick Start" on ios, should also work. Please note that you can't restore an android backup to an ios device or vice versa, so this method only works if you are moving between devices on the same platform.
How can I restore purchases if I switch devices or delete and reinstall the app?
If you have made an in-app purchase, you can restore it for free on any device using the same app/play store account. In most cases this should happen automatically, but you can also simply tap the "Restore Purchases" button under settings. This will check your app store account for any previous purchases and restore them to your current device.
Are there infinite levels?
No, but there are a lot! The game currently has 40000+ levels. Once you complete the last level, you will enter a special random mode. In this mode you will replay previously completed levels in a random order. You can disable random mode and/or reset your progress at any time from the settings menu. You will keep all your coins and trophies.
Are there infinite trophies?
No, currently there are more than 6000 trophies per type to earn and collect. Once you win the last trophy of one type, you will keep winning the same last trophy for that type.
Why does the trophies number go up by 3 when I win 1 gold trophy?
When you win a gold trophy, you also earn a silver and bronze trophy. The same applies to silver trophies (you also get the bronze) but not bronze trophies.
I found a bug! How can I report it?
If you encounter a bug, please report it to us at support@towerlabs.co.uk. Include as much detail as possible, such as steps to reproduce the issue, screenshots, and your Player ID (see below). This information will help us investigate and resolve the problem more quickly.
What is my Player ID and why might you ask for it?
Your Player ID is a random identifier generated and stored locally on your device. You can find it in the settings menu of the app. It may be shared with the payment platform to help locate your purchase order in the event of a refund request or to help prevent fraud. If you contact us about a support or refund issue, we may ask you to provide it so we can locate your order more easily.
